For 30 years, David Batra and Johan Glans have talked about doing a stage show together. The idea was born when they met in 1994 at an amateur standup competition, came in joint first place and became best friends. It was talked about when they made Kvarteret Skatan together. And during the recordings of “Räkfrossa”, “Morgonsoffan” and “Jättebästisar”. It’s been talked about and talked about, year after year, but now, dear audience, it’s actually finally time!
This spring, two of Sweden’s most loved comedians, David Batra and Johan Glans, are going on tour together with their first comedy show as a duo! It will be a thunderous party night to celebrate the best friends’ 30 years together with their audience, maxed out with sketches, stand-up and improvised whims. Now it’s time to watch out, because it could very well be another 30 years before they come into action again!
- Traveling around Sweden and meeting the audience together with your best friend is a dream! We want to treat the audience to an evening filled with nonsense, ridicule and a total lack of seriousness, says David Batra.
- I look forward to being on stage together again. When we play sketches together, like in “Kvarteret Skatan” and “Morgonsoffan”, we really get an outlet for our own humor, says Johan Glans.
